Musical Word Made Flesh

We see it on his face, a gift and miracle: the making of music brings him to the brink of reverent ecstasy. Within him resides the word and ideal, urgently stirring - . . . more

Hey, David! Thank you for your lovely comments! I have to say that your loving, robust personality would be most welcome at our table any day! Work has been busy, but I promise to write tomorrow! xxx

Hi David, I just wanted to clarify that it certainly wasn't me criticising William Blake whom I revere. Nor would I "disrespect" any of the other greats, all of whom I admire to different degrees (especially Shakespeare and Tennyson; and Hopkins etc etc). No, it was the reluctant adjudicator, St Brigid, patron saint of poetry, who made those outrageous (I thought they were funny) comments.
Best wishes Mike

Thanks for your comment. I know there are some typos and I do plan on going back and fixing those. I will be posting chapter two soon. Thanks again.

You are very welcome. My comments are from both the head and heart; as I think that's the only way to respond.
Your "Dad" piece moved me, as we have very similar dads...and I think we are truely blessed to be so fortunate. Now, if I can only straighten out his "medicare questions..." (smile) Wilka

Thank you so much for your insights and comments on my poem. I haven't sent any words out into the word for a very long time.

David, I've missed you so much! Thank you so much for your comments on my poem; I have been writing ever so slowly! I will go back and read your message now... work is so busy these days, that I feel like I'm stealing moments from work (which I am!), but still, thinking of you, and so glad to see your work again!
